Hi, and welcome to my blog.  I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Kate, and I’m a chronic stress-baker.   As a single mom of two and a senior Music Education major, I find myself stressed out and overwhelmed more often than not.  Baking has become my main escape from that part of my life – at least for a few hours at a time.

2015 was a rough year for me, and I turned to baking to help me cope; baking has always helped me through all of the bumps in the roads in my life, actually.  I slowly went from being an occasional stress-baker to a baking addict (interventions have been attempted – all of which have failed miserably).  I started this blog primarily to share my recipes with my friends and family.  I’ve never had a blog before, so you’ll have to bear with me as I stumble through this.

One of the main things that influences my recipes is my severe food allergies.  I’m allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, soy, ginger, carrots, and several spices.  Hopefully my recipes will help others with food allergies.

A cool, new feature that should be coming to my website soon is the ability to place orders to either be shipped or delivered to you.

I am also available to cater events, working with you to create the perfect dessert menu – fully customized, and always delicious.  My catering menu should be available on my website soon as well.
